First verify that the address of the imported wallet matches your original wallet address.

If the address and network are correct, simply add the token to your token list.

If they don't match, it means the wrong private key or mnemonic has been imported. This could happen for a few reasons:

  • You may have multiple mnemonics/private keys, and the one you imported is not the wallet you intended to restore. In this case, locate the correct one and re-import it.
  • The mnemonic/private key you backed up is incorrect, or you made an error when entering it.
  • The mnemonic derivation path does not match. imToken uses the default derivation path, which may be different from the one used for your mnemonic. If this mnemonic was not generated in imToken, please import it in the app where the wallet was originally created.
